  • Jim Doyle

    Jim and his eleven associates work with companies and business owners who want to stand out from their competition and significantly increase the results of their advertising.

    During his 27-year background in advertising and broadcasting, Jim has owned an advertising agency, was Director of Sales for a TV Group, and part owner of a radio station in Rochester, NY. Jim founded Jim Doyle & Associates in 1991.

    Since then, Jim has presented marketing workshops for business people in over 500 cities across the country. He is author of the book, Don’t Just Make a Sale, Make a Difference, and has conducted recent national seminars on healthcare marketing and auto marketing, as well as numerous other video programs including “How to Market Your Business in a Challenging Environment” and “Increasing Dealer Ad Impact in a Very Challenging Market.”

    Jim Doyle is a Certified Speaking Professional with the National Speakers Association. He is the father of two college students and lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife, Paula.

  • John Hannon, President

    John Hannon is President of Jim Doyle & Associates, a marketing firm of speakers, authors, trainers,and consultants dedicated to helping television sales organizations consistently deliver positive revenue momentum.

    John travels the country as an in-demand industry speaker. He works with television companies to develop profitable strategies for both media outlets and client advertisers. His extensive knowledge of television management, marketing, digital convergence and sales enables him to help industry leaders create powerful selling cultures to significantly grow their businesses.

    His broadcasting career began at the age of fifteen as a radio station disc jockey. By the age of eighteen, John answered the call of customer service as an account executive.

    He offers clients an impressive portfolio of experience having held various sales, station management, program distribution and corporate positions with Tri-Radio Broadcasting, ACT III, Sullivan Broadcasting, Sinclair Broadcasting, Quorum Broadcasting and Acme Communications.

    Under John’s leadership, television stations have won five #1 in the nation awards, the network Model For Success, the Better Business Bureau Integrity Award and multiple National Association of Broadcasting Sales Promotion awards.

    John is a best-selling author. The first volume in his Engaged Management book series, Inspiring Your Team To Win was an Amazon #1 new release and it was a #1 best-seller in the category of Management & Leadership: Training.

    Originally from Ironton Ohio, John holds degrees from Central Texas College and Ohio University. He completed his Masters degree in Journalism and Broadcast Station Management at Marshall University. He is a member of the National Speakers Association.

    John is a nearly twelve-year veteran of the Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Army National Guard. He is a retired rugby player living in Sarasota, Florida, with wife Bridget, two daughters, a son and two dogs.

    Tom lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife of 25 years and their four sons. He enjoys fishing and playing guitar.

  • Patrick Norris, Senior Vice President

    Having previously been on “the other side of the table” as an auto group managing partner, he experienced the power of the Jim Doyle philosophy of concentration and marketing focus and the impact it had on his business – growing it over 25% and reaping millions more in annual revenue. He also understands the hard decisions a business owner makes in advertising spending and the need to get quantifiable results on the investment. Now, he uses his hands-on experience with the JDA strategies to help other local businesses substantially grow their sales.

    As the Managing Partner of the Norris Auto Group, Pat ran a collection of 5 retail, multi-brand automobile dealerships and 2 motor sports stores. His 16 year success was directly attributed to his ability to develop advertising strategies that cut through the “advertising noise” and got results. After his career in the retail automobile business, Pat joined the Market Access Group, a private equity firm, as the VP of Marketing and Sales. He worked alongside entrepreneurial business owners, developing marketing plans and installing successful sales practices for auto dealers, retailers, and a variety of small businesses.

    Pat graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Marketing and Business Development and from the General Motors School of Retail Management. He’s the proud recipient of the 2004 Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award and numerous Community Civic Awards for his community involvement and business leadership.

    Pat lives in the Cleveland, Ohio area and enjoys fishing, golf, motorcycle touring, skiing, boating, and spending quality time with his 2 daughters, one who is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and the other who has an MBA as a licensed Dietician and Nutritionist.

  • Elaine Lunkes, Vice President of Client Programs

    Elaine Lunkes is Vice President of Client Programs. She uses her blended background of advertising sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure an exceptional client experience. Her primary focus is on Doyle on Demand and its ability to create record revenue results for our clients, as well as scheduling and contracts.

    Prior to joining JDA, Elaine was a Director for Comcast of West Florida, where she had also held positions as an Advertising Account Executive and Local Sales Manager. Her contributions to the Comcast organization garnered multiple awards including “National Rookie of the Year” and “Team Recognition for New Sales Development.” She found further success after being transferred into the Commercial Development department by consistently exceeding budget expectations and growing business by many millions of dollars. She has managed Bulk Cable, Government Affairs/Public Relations, Customer Service, Business to Business Sales and Door-to-Door Sales. Comcast selected Elaine for their prestigious Comcast University Leadership Program from which she graduated.

    Elaine was drawn to sales at an early age, working in her father’s store while still in Jr. High School. She later sold Advertising Specialties, which led to a career traveling the country first as an Account Executive, then as National Sales Manager in the Visual Merchandising industry. While there, she grew their largest account by 500% and received the JCPenney “Visual Merchandising Supplier of the Year Award.”

    Elaine understands the importance of community investment. She is actively involved in the Sarasota Boys and Girls Club and was named 2008 Board Member of the Year. She is also a founding board member of Lauren’s One Wish, an organization devoted to improving the quality of life for youth with cancer. Elaine graduated from the State College of Florida with a degree in business. She is married with two children.

  • Anne Fowler, Vice President of Sales & Distribution

    In her nearly 18 years in Marketing and Media, Anne has been hugely successful by utilizing a strategic sales and creative plan that generates results. As a connector, she uses her unparalleled talent, enthusiasm, and humor to help managers and account executives recognize opportunity, make compelling presentations, and close business.

    Anne began her sales career in retail and apparel manufacturing, and easily transitioned her selling skills into media and communications with Fox Sports Net South, securing new advertisers for a seven state footprint. She then moved over to the local Meredith-owned station, WGCL CBS46, in Atlanta, GA. During her years at CBS, Anne worked primarily with local direct businesses to grow their profit by utilizing both on-air and digital advertising. She received numerous accolades including: New Business Person of the Quarter, and secured major sponsorships in Weather, Sports, and non-traditional revenue streams.

    After CBS, Anne joined Sydney-based NRS Media as Senior Account Director, where she worked with broadcast stations all over the US generating substantial new revenue. She was promoted to Director of Business Development where she continued her success acquiring new clients and launching programs.

    In 2011, Anne joined Jim Doyle & Associates as a Senior Marketing Consultant, executing successful JDA UPGRADE Revenue Initiatives, before being promoted to Vice President of Sales & Distribution. She is responsible for introducing new partners to the extensive JDA tools and services available to teach stations and cable outlets to be better and more profitable year after year.

    Originally from Shelby, North Carolina, Anne graduated with degrees from both William Peace University and Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. Anne has lived in Richmond, New York City, Greensboro, Atlanta, and now resides in Sarasota, FL where she enjoys tennis, golf, sailing, traveling with friends out west to snow ski, and Carolina Tar Heels Basketball. When not traveling, Anne is involved in volunteer activities through her church and within the community.

  • Sue Textor, Executive Administrative Assistant

    Along with her expert organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, Sue is the front line liaison to our valued clients, as well as providing exceptional administrative support to the JDA management team. Sue coordinates the varied details necessary for successful execution of training and conferences and multiple JDA offsite events. Sue’s internal functions, include building management and HR support.

    Prior to joining JDA, Sue spent 20 years working in executive level administration in the fields of Home Building and General andRetail Construction in both the Sarasota/Bradenton area and Ohio.

    Sue, her husband Dan, and cats, Oreo and Scooter live in Sarasota, FL. She has two grown children. Erik is a Toledo Police Detective and father to grandchildren Erik, Jr. and Avery, and Lindsey is a Registered Nurse residing in Chicago. Sue loves to cook, travel, and spend time at the beach!

  • Robin Renna, Client Relations

    Robin Renna has contributed her talents to the Jim Doyle & Associates support team since 2006. She lends her creativity and editing eagle eye to every piece of client communication, including The Leaders Edge and The Money Memo, as well as managing programs and special events. Robin’s philosophy is to always to go the extra mile in providing exceptional customer service. This is evidenced by her management of the client support libraries, which include client testimonials and results-producing commercials, and her quick and thorough response to client requests.

    Robin and her husband, Jerry, both profess to having had a gypsy gene. Before finally settling in Sarasota, Robin was a territory manager for L’Oreal Cosmetics in Atlanta, a Realtor in Utah, and a speaker’s assistant in California. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, the small New England town where Jim Doyle started in the radio broadcast industry.

    In her spare time, Robin is an author of children’s books, for which she has received the Florida Writers Association Literary Award twice. When not writing, she enjoys spending time with her rescue/therapy dog, Kumba, volunteering with a local animal rescue organization, and riding her horse, Cody.

  • Matt Snelson, Digital Media Manager

    Matt manages the Digital Media Department and is responsible for producing Doyle On Demand. Proficient in video production and editing, he has 20 years of production experience. He handles all things “tech” for the company and is an integral part of the company’s web and social media presence. As a Google Ad Words Certified Partner, he is highly knowledgeable in online marketing and SEO.

    Prior to joining JDA, Matt was the Director of Operations, Senior Editor and Senior Videographer for Watrous Video Productions.

    Matt and his wife, Stephanie, live in Bradenton, Florida with their two children Chase and Ashlyn. They also have 2 dogs Dempsey and Scarlett. He loves to cook, go camping, and attend sporting events. Matt is an avid Buccaneers, Rays and Lightning fan!

  • Lynne Collins, Director of Client Services

    Lynne contributes her outstanding organizational skills to the Jim Doyle & Associates Sarasota team. She is responsible for many “behind the scenes” activities that ensure JDA Programs and product launches are efficient and flawless. This includes: client event registrations, executive and Sr. Consultant scheduling and logistics coordination, preparation of training materials, revenue reporting/reconciliation, and marketing research.

    Prior to joining JDA, Lynne managed an office for the Alaska Senate, where she was responsible for writing and editing overviews of committee staff hearings and tracking legislation through the legislative process. During her 25 years in Alaska, she also worked for small businesses and nonprofit agencies in many administrative capacities, including accounting.

    Lynne has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Montana and has attended Middlebury College’s Breadloaf Program. She has volunteered in many capacities, including as a literacy tutor, Selby Gardens, and as a board member of the Juneau Lighthouse Association. She enjoys Sarasota for its wonderful climate of Sarasota and the opportunity to be close to several family members, including her adult son. In her free time, she likes to write and paint.
